The GreenBird House

The GreenBird House is made from a three layer laminate of recycled paper. The bonding agent is water resistant. This combination allows the house to last through the nesting season and then it is biodegradable. We know of some houses lasting into a second season!

The kit contains two die cut sections of the house, the 100% cotton hanging strap and instructions for simple assembly. The house can be assembled in a matter of minutes. It can be used white, just as it is, assembled inside out for a brown house or painted.

Wrens, Titmice and Nuthatches are the birds that the house is designed for. We have had reports of Chickadees moving in too.

The package carries information on these birds, the loss of bird habitat, recycling, conservation, painting the birdhouse and more.

Also, Boy Scouts can use the GreenBird House toward earning merit badges and conservation awards.
